The Parker Inheritance is a rich novel that explores American history, politics, relationships, race, and teenage sexuality. This book study is rated M for Mature as we will discuss what many consider adult topics, but teens are often wrestling with. This class will be primarily discussion but will integrate literary activities, social studies, and interpersonal skills.

This asynchronous course will use recorded videos, exercises, activities, and group discussions to help students master their understanding of numbers. Students will be given assessments throughout the class to check for understanding. New videos will be available the Friday prior to the upcoming week and students will have until the following Friday to complete the work.

This lunch and learn club is for our younger learners. Students will engage critical thinking and problem-solving as they learn about the world around them. Each week, we will review the news and discuss stories of interests and their implications.of those stories. We will focus on the 6 W's as our primary learning structure.

Teens as Teachers is an opportunity to let your student show off their expertise. Each week, one student will present via their chosen medium on the topic of their choice. Students will be guided in developing a presentation, public speaking, and creating informational material. This class will be live on Zoom.

Once they become teenagers, there are only a few short years before students enter the workforce or attend a higher education institution. This class is designed to help students gain exposure to a variety of career options as well as understand business. We do this through learning about and developing our own business.
